Kurt's dual role encompasses both technical leadership in vehicle development and strategic business development to support the company's innovative electric motorcycle technologies. Kurt blends a rich background in engineering with a lifelong passion for motorcycling. He began riding at age seven, and as an adult he has amassed over 100,000 miles on motorcycles, traversing both on-road and off-road terrains and racetracks across North America, Europe, and Japan.

Kurt brings a multidisciplinary approach to overseeing the design and integration of all vehicle subsystems. His experience includes a notable tenure at Honda R&D North America, where he contributed to designing, engineering, and testing new vehicle models as an expert evaluator. With this experience he works to reduce the mass of the Damon Hypersport, improve performance and handling, and enhance the rider’s experience. His background in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects across various industries, including hydrogen fuel cells, battery energy storage systems, and capital equipment manufacturing ensures Damon delivers the highest performing electric motorcycles.
